The NLUD Journal on Labour 2025 Call for Papers is now open for submissions, inviting scholars, researchers, and practitioners to contribute to one of India’s leading interdisciplinary platforms on labour studies. Submission Guidelines

The NLUD Labour Journal welcomes the following types of contributions:

  1. Special Articles: 8,000–10,000 words; innovative theoretical or empirical research within the thematic area.
  2. Short Articles: 5,000–8,000 words; focused on contemporary relevance and impact.
  3. Insights/Perspectives: 3,500–4,500 words; short discussions on specific labour issues or emerging debates.
  4. Book Reviews/Case Notes: 2,500–3,000 words; review nationally or internationally recognized publications or landmark legal cases.
  5. Field Notes/Pictorial Commentaries: 1–2 pages; provide methodological insights or visual representations of labour issues.

Formatting Requirements: Times New Roman, size 12 for main text, size 10 for footnotes, 1.5 line spacing, APA citation style, and abstracts limited to 300 words. Each submission must include five relevant keywords.


Conditions of Publication

  • Originality: All submissions must be original and not under consideration elsewhere.
  • Liability: Authors are responsible for the content and any infringements.
  • Copyright: Authors grant NLUD Journal a royalty-free license to publish and distribute submissions in all media formats.

The submissions will undergo rigorous review by the editorial board to maintain high academic standards.
